Cloud Native network is one of the innovation for Telecoms because improving the agility and flexibility of a 5G network make our life better. CNFs are core functions of 5G and Observability for CNFs is a key factor for providing a stable network to customers. KDDI expands its project that Yuki presented the previous ONS to investigating the way of Observability for CNFs, especially for metrics/traces, and one of the scopes is NW Slice.

He deploys vEPC as CNF for building NW environment on public cloud and he uses OpenAirInterface, istio, envoy, prometheus, spinnaker and some tracing tools.

In this presentation, Yuki will show a live/video demo on GCP and share requirements from the perspective of observability.
