Thomas is a principal software engineer in the networking group in the Red Hat office of the CTO where he has been working on bringing hardware accelerated network interfaces into containerized network functions. Previously, he has worked on VPP, fd.io CSIT, Network Service Mesh and Open vSwitch. Before Red Hat he worked on SDN security applications and in embedded systems networking. He is the author of “The Linux TCP/IP Stack, Networking for Embedded Engineers.” He has previously presented at fd.io mini-summit, Open Stack Summit, DPDK Summit and other events.
